I've had a few different patient families through the years where I've gotten to know multi-generational, and that's really cool for me because I, you know, I get to see life through their lens and through everything that is important to their family. But our practice, I love seeing kids, I love seeing adults, and I love seeing more, you know, seasoned elderly patients. We love taking care of everyone so that we can be in, you know, a part of their lives, and that's really important to us.

We will see kids pretty young if a patient maybe is a little rambunctious or isn't accommodating. It's a little more tricky for us to see them here, so we have a, you know, plethora of different specialty pediatric dentists that we can refer to, but if a kid is really well-behaved and likes being here, it's, I get a lot of joy in hanging out with kids because they're pretty silly and makes, you know, the day go by a little differently than if it's just all adults, so we're happy to see children at Kennedy Dental. Just in life, as life changes, our mouth can change quite a bit and our bodies change a lot.

Things like healing slows down over time, our salivary production can change quite a bit, and then also, you know, maybe in moments of sadness we can take less care of ourselves, so having a really good dental professional that's familiar with you and familiar with your life that can help you and maybe be more preventative that can stop something before it becomes a bigger problem is very advantageous for a patient, so thinking of your dentist as, you know, maybe a part of your close family is not a bad idea just because they're able to really help you and make sure everything's happy and healthy in your life.

It was my first time visiting the dentist in awhile and the team was super helpful and responsive in answering my questions and scheduling an appointment online. The team addressed concerns I had with my teeth and showed genuine interest in my overall health. While I did purchase some oral care products, I didn't feel like they were pushing any services on me. I was very relaxed and afterward my mouth didn't ache like it does after walking out of some dentist offices. Money is always a concern, especially when not all health insurance covers dental care. The office has some great first-time patient specials and ongoing care plans for those who have to pay out-of-pocket. When I left I didn't realize how much time I had spent there, but they covered a lot of procedures from x-rays to pictures, cleaning, etc., but I was there for almost two hours. So if you're going there for a first-time visit I would just make sure you leave yourself enough time for the appointment. I definitely will be going back to them in the future.
