I went to undergrad, I went to dental school right away after, and then I did a one-year residency after dental school, just an optional one-year thing. Not every dentist has to do that, but I chose to just get more training and more advanced techniques. I’m looking forward to working with Dr. Kennedy because he has a lot of advanced knowledge and has done a lot of continuing education, and I hope to emulate what he’s done in his career and to continue on that practice.
Something I pride myself on in my ability to helping a patient accomplish their dental goals is being able to listen and being warm and friendly so that they don’t feel judgment and they can overcome their fear of coming to see us, because there’s a lot of people that really hate going to the dentist, and I try to set myself apart by making that an obstacle to overcome. My favorite part about dentistry is helping the patient with their goals and their needs and making their life better through their smile.
